We aim to build the foundation needed to develop a life-long love of learning that will sustain your child as they make their transition to school and beyond.
Brookes Street Early Education offers a Government-Approved Kindergarten program that goes above and beyond the required standards. At Brookes Street, your child will be provided with high-quality education and care experiences, which are guided by the National Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
The Kindergarten Program runs 8.00am-4.30pm Monday to Friday. The program is taught full-time by a university-qualified Early Childhood Teacher.
Through play, your child’s learning will be full of wonder and possibility. We will share in your child’s investigations, interests and discoveries and actively engage, scaffold and extend their thinking as it occurs in our rich, socially responsive and interactive spaces.
Our educators use specific teaching strategies to expand on your child’s knowledge, skills and disposition for learning. The Kindergarten program focuses on building upon and supporting your child’s social and emotional development and confidence while embedding early literacy and numeracy skills.
